Lawmakers in the US state of Virginia are considering banning ornamental plastic bull’s testicles. Let us explain: the bull’s balls are plastic, made to clip onto the back of your truck and trailer. They’ve been selling by the thousands. (Who would’ve thought it, eh?)
The man trying to ban the balls, is Lionel Spruill, known for his failed attempt in 2005 to ban baggy trousers. No, not the song, actual baggy trousers.
Spruill was outraged by the fake scrotums when his six-year-old daughter asked him what they were. He says on his attempt to outlaw the car accessories: “How big are they going to go? When will it stop?”
Mr Spruill adds (insult to injury) by saying: “I’m going to be the laughing stock, but I'm going to do it!”
You said it, Lionel…
