Weiner's sex texts

It's been a tough couple of weeks for Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner, who last week admitted to sending sex texts including 'lewd' images of himself to at least six women. The United States House of Representatives granted Weiner a two week leave of absence to 'seek treatment' (or maybe just hide from the media in a locked dark room) just after President Obamasent a public message to Weiner urging him to quit.

In an interview on NBC on Monday, Obama said 'I can tell you that if it was me, I would resign' going on to point out that 'Public service is exactly that, it's a service to the public. When you get to the point where – because of various personal distractions, you can't serve as effectively as you need to at the time when people are worrying about jobs and their mortgages and paying the bills – then you should probably step back.'

It's not known exactly what type of treatment Weiner is getting, or where but Robert Weiss, founder of the Sexual Recovery Institute in Los Angeles, told the AP that 'He's exhibiting behavior of an addict. The secrecy, the risk taking, the denial'.

According to the Huffington Post the images of Weiner's...ahem..weiner, were posted on Twitter and then immediately removed. But you can see him perfecting his mirror-pout in all its glory on TMZ's site here. You've been warned.
