US City council to name and shame porn viewers

For the citizens of Quincy, in Massachusetts U.S.A, it may be time to invest in a personal computer, to indulge in as much private Grade A porn watching as needed. Having somehow managed to log on to various triple X websites whilst innocently browsing books and websites in the city's library, the teenage, male population of Quincy (we're really talking about a certain demographic, aren't we?) could soon find itself 'named and shamed' by city councillors.

The idea was originally thought of by Councillor Daniel Raymondi, who has gained such support that the resolution for the plan to list offendees was unanimously approved by the council last week, the Metro Online reports. Library Director, and we guess stickler for sensible cyber-viewing, Ann McLaughlin tells local paper 'The Patriot Ledger' that offenders are 'given two warnings before being banned' before commenting that she 'was unsure about how effective a measure the public porn shaming would be.' Quite.

The next step in keeping Quincy smut-free, we imagine, will be an amnesty for mums to hand in the bed-time reading their sons keep under their mattresses! Hide the Playboys, guys!
