New show Trinny and Susannah Dress the Nation received thousands of complaints when style secrets turned into sapphic softcore as the Sloaney stylists fondled the bare breasts of British women.
As this outrageousness happened before the watershed, family groups complained to ITV that the programme went against broadcasting guidelines and showed content that wasn’t appropriate for young children.
And yet despite this naughtiness, the show somehow managed to get the most viewers of all the channels. Funny that. And anyway, it shouldn’t be the viewers complaining: after all, it was just breasts – half the population have them. Our sympathies should lie with the women who had to exhibit themselves on national TV and then get molested by Trinny and Susannah, poor dears.
