American student Natalie Dylan has taken an original approach to raising funds to pay her astronomical university fees. The 22-year-old bookworm has decided to auction off her virginity on shock jock Howard Stern's radio show.
The San Diego native has said that she is willing to undergo a gynecological exam as well as a lie detector test to prove her virginity. The auction will be held online with the highest bidder winning the right to pop Natalie's cherry.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ms. Dylan said that she feels no qualms about selling her body to fund her education: "I don't have a moral dilemma with it. We live in a capitalist society. Why shouldn't I be allowed to capitalise on my virginity?"
The money raised in the auction will be used to fund a Masters in marriage and family therapy. The 22-year-old is using a pseudonym to protect her identity, but it might also have been a good idea to not plaster photos of herself all over the internet if she wanted to remain anonymous.
