The BBC World Service Trust has adopted a novel approach to promoting the use of prophylactics when two people decide to make the beast with two backs: a ringtone which celebrates using condoms.
The advert for the ringtone features a middle aged man at an Indian wedding reception. His phone inadvertently starts to ring introducing the world to the musical celebration of rubber johnnies.
Our poor hero looks mortified as his mobile continues to sing about the joys of wrapping up your John Thomas like bank robber with a stocking on its head. But the ad's message is simple. No one should be ashamed of using protection while having sex. As that old Tao saying goes: "Don't be a ding-dong cover you shling-shlong."
