Post-presidential porn peak

Who would have thought that the wrinkled face of Ol' George 'Dubya' Bush could inspire such hormonal antics or that the 'Yes we can'-do attitude of one Barack Obama could get middle America so worked up under its white collar. However, a recent survey by a husband & wife research team in the States has revealed a significant rise in porn searches on the web in US states which vote for a winning presidential campaigner.

By examining the number of entries into online search engines using the most common pornographic words for the internet, Patrick and Charlotte Markey, of Rutgers and Villanova University, were able to link post-election satisfaction with feeling randy...albeit alone.

'Porn requests became more prevalent in states that voted for Obama in 2008 and Bush in 2004, but not in the states that went to the losing candidate. The Markeys' analysis of the 2006 midterm election also yielded similar results', Asylum reveals.

Somehow we're not convinced that Gordon Brown or David Cameron thrashing it out in Parliament could ever have got anyone to watch the news, let alone have sex in front of the tv.
