Tom Cruise: sexiest film actor?

As a neat counterpoint to our recent posting about nasty naked scenes, we are grateful to AV Club for an imaginative and well-researched list of "14 truly sexy sex scenes".

It’s a clever selection that ranges far and wide, avoiding the obvious and pulling out some gems that you probably thought only you burned a candle for.

At number two, for instance, there’s the scene from Y Tu Mamá También where Ana López Mercado shares a moment with red-blooded teenage buddies Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal. It starts off as a threesome, then – before you can say “yummy mummy” – turns into a gay twosome at once tender and unexpected.

In at number eight is the hot monk-y business that takes place in the scary monastery of The Name of the Rose, followed at nine by that spontaneous moment of mutual oral pleasure in A History of Violence. (Remember that cheerleading uniform? And they’re married! Wow.)
