NHS gets dirtier

Next time you’re feeling a bit ill and decide to log on to NHS Direct, at least now the anatomical models are more lifel-like.

The NHS previously used human models without genitalia, which for a medical site seemed rather silly. In order to understand the full workings of the human body everything needs to be shown. Doesn’t it?

So the website asked its users, for the sake of science, should they show the models’ genitalia? Well over 7,000 people voted and the vast majority were in favour of showing the models in their full glory. 

So next time you want to do some DIY diagnosis, expect to see just that little bit more...
