We reported that those saucy French students were selling themselves in order to pay their university fees. But it seems more and more British students are turning to prostitution to get themselves through university.

Struggling to make ends meet, students are going to escort agencies, which hire them out to anyone who coughs up. Escort agencies are also said to like taking students onto their books because they are intelligent and can hold a conversation with the client.

What is perhaps more surprising is many of the students who have turned to this profession quite often stay in this line of work. It may not be the most desirable way of earning a living, but it’s certainly better paid. The average starter wage for graduates is £20,000 per year, working as a high-class escort, however, will net you a cool £50,000…
