Ever wanted to know about the mating habits of spiders, dragonflies and fireflies? No? Well, you may want to know. Sexy screen siren Isabella Rossellini has filmed a series of screen shorts describing the sex lives of insects and erm, she’s the star.

Forget the boring wildlife shots of the mini-beasts, this time we have Isabella dressed up as the bugs, humping away at human size papier-mache models. Rossellini seductively approaches the models of the creepy-crawlies giving a breathy, blow-by-blow commentary of the exploits.

At one point she stars as a praying mantis and gets her head eaten – but that doesn’t stop old Isabella, who continues copulating – that’s what you call professionalism! Move over David Attenborough – there’s a new wildlife presenter in town, and she even does her own stunts!

The shorts are currently being screened at the Sundance film festival, so expect them to be coming to an Art House cinema near you anytime soon. We can’t wait…
