Floral scents – nature’s Viagra

History has had many theories about the best way to get a man going, but a study earlier this year found that the simple smell of flowers may beat them all. The study found that floral scents cause a surge in testosterone in men, and thus increase blood flow to the penis.

The study, carried out by the Nara University of Education in Japan, found that the two most dramatically arousing scents were a combination of lavender and pumpkin pie – increasing blood flow by 40% – and a combination of black liquorice and doughnuts, which caused an increase of 32%.

So when you find yourself with that special guy, you have two choices: get down to Dunkin’ Donuts with a bag of Allsorts, or bake a pumpkin pie and cover yourself in lavender oil. But don’t overdo the lavender – you don’t want him dropping off before you get it on…
